Outreach

Each month the Benevolence Committee has a different project that everyone interested can participate in, such as providing hygiene items for the local school nurses, assisting the local Head Start daycare with items requested for the children, and support for the Boys & Girls local club. Plans are also underway to deliver meals to shut-ins and support a church information table at the monthly Second Saturday crafts fair. 

Each December our church joins with Grant Chapel to sponsor the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony by providing lots and lots of baked goods to hand out to the public, to decorate the tree, and generally be part of the community in the season of Advent. 

This church sponsors volunteer groups who meet on campus on a regular basis such as the Girl Scouts, Al-Anon, Dorcas, and Memory Matters Caregivers Support Group.
